At Standard Optometry, Dr. Lo can perform a contact lens fitting to prescribe quality contact lenses and make sure you are comfortable wearing them. She will educate you in contact lens care so your eyes remain healthy throughout your lifetime.

Contact lenses are medical devices that are controlled by the FDA, and therefore Dr. Lo will perform a professional fitting to ensure that your contact lens wearing experience will be safe and comfortable. Contact lens fittings and eye exams should be done once a year to ensure that your eyes are continuing to tolerate contact lens wear without any detrimental effects or complications.

We fit all brand name lenses from Acuvue, Bausch and Lomb, CooperVision, CibaVision and many others, and we can suggest fittings for patients with astigmatism and presbyopia.

Depending on the condition of your eyes and your visual needs, Dr. Lo may suggest the following types of lenses:

Soft Contact Lenses

Soft contact lenses are the most common types of lenses prescribed today and are commonly available in daily, bi-weekly and monthly modalities. With advances in contact lenses, we may also be able to suggest soft contact lenses for patients with astigmatism and presbyopia.

Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) Lenses

RGP lenses have properties of high oxygen permeability and can provide better vision to certain patients with conditions such as keratoconus.
